The Defence Academy Golf Club has once again this year chosen the On Course Foundation as their chosen Charity.
This charity raises funds for our sick and injured Service personnel and veterans.
It is with pleasure that we would like to share with you a link to the Simpson Cup feature produced by Golfing World - click here to watch it.

The Club, established in 1956, is an attractive 18 hole course within
the confines of the Defence Academy of The United Kingdom. The 18 different holes are achieved by
a devious combination of 14 greens and 17 tees, so making each hole
unique. We are established to encourage beginners to take up the sport
and a visiting professional is available for lessons. The course has
evolved to give all standards of players an enjoyable game in pleasant
parkland conditions. The course is 5684 yards long and par 70. Our
handicaps are recognised by the English Golf Union - a vital entree
to other clubs when you leave.
There are at least two competitions each month, with all the
entry fees being returned as prizes. There are also some 30 matches a
season, against local Club and Military teams. The Club Captain would
be glad to hear from players holding EGU handicaps. If friendly golf
is your thing then the course is open dawn to dusk with very few tee
restrictions - see Competitions, Fixtures and Course Notice Board on this web site or the club notice boards.
Club membership is comprised of personnel employed or studying at the Defence Academy and members of the local community. For details of the course and club membership fees please contact the Club Manager on 01793 785725. Membership forms can be downloaded and completed using the links on the menu to the left of this page.
